Why Mali Advocates

Steady Support Through Each Stage

Our approach is built around the person, not the paperwork. These are the qualities clients return to and refer us for.

Experienced Practitioners

Our advocates hold current Thai Bar Council registration and have handled pension matters across public, private, and provident fund categories.

Plain, Honest Communication

We explain each step before it happens and never leave clients to read dense legal language without support. You will always know where things stand.

Realistic Timelines

We set honest expectations rather than optimistic ones. Pension processes in Thailand have defined windows; we manage them carefully and keep you informed at each milestone.

A Respectful Pace

Pension concerns often arrive at already stressful times. We work at your pace, offer additional explanation where needed, and never pressure a decision.

Strict Confidentiality

All client information is handled under Thai legal professional privilege. We store documents securely and discuss matters only with those you have authorised.

Bangkok Office, National Scope

Based in Watthana, Bangkok, we handle pension matters for clients across Thailand and can coordinate correspondence with provincial funds and agencies as needed.

Take the First Step

A Calm Conversation Costs Nothing

Many clients tell us that simply understanding their pension position brought significant relief. We are here to provide that clarity, without pressure and at a sensible pace.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Practical answers to the questions we hear most often.

What exactly does a Pension Position Review cover?
The review covers your existing pension entitlements, fund membership records, any relevant employment history, and the current status of your position with the relevant fund or authority. We read the documents alongside you, explain what they mean in plain terms, and produce a short written summary of your options. It is designed for anyone who would like to understand their situation clearly before deciding whether to take any further steps.
How long does the appeals process typically take?
Under Thai law, the Social Security Office and relevant provident fund bodies have defined response windows, typically 30 to 90 days per stage. More complex appeals involving multiple correspondence rounds or formal hearings may take longer. We will give you an honest estimate for your specific situation at the outset and update you at each milestone. We do not offer timelines we cannot stand behind.
Do I need to come into the office for every appointment?
Not at all. An initial in-person meeting is often the most comfortable way to go through documents together, but subsequent consultations can be arranged by telephone or secure video call. For clients based outside Bangkok, we routinely manage the full engagement remotely, with documents exchanged securely. The priority is always your convenience and ease of access.
What documents should I bring to the first meeting?
It is helpful to bring any correspondence you have received from your pension fund or the Social Security Office, your national identification card or passport, your most recent pension statement if available, and any previous decisions or letters relating to your situation. If you are not certain what is relevant, simply bring what you have — we will help you identify what matters. You do not need to have everything in order before contacting us.
Are the fees fixed, or could they change during the engagement?
The fees shown for each service are the fixed engagement fee for that scope of work. If your circumstances change — for instance, if an appeal develops further complexity than initially apparent — we would discuss this with you before any additional work was undertaken and agree a revised scope in writing. There are no hidden charges and no surprises added to invoices.
Is my personal information kept confidential?
Yes. All information you share with us is protected under Thai legal professional privilege. We do not discuss your matter with third parties without your written consent, and documents are stored securely. Our data practices comply with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA). You may request details of how your information is held at any time.
